About Me

United States
I'm informing readers that video games and politics are what I follow. I follow up on new video games and hope that oppressed peoples will secede from the U.S. Yankee Empire. I'm a big fan of the Wii U Gamepad style controls as I own a Nintendo 64, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U with plans on owning a PlayStation 4 by receiving it for Christmas.

Why Major Parties Hold Their duopoly

The secret weapon major parties use is "major party" status giving special privilages to Dems & GOPs over others. Major party status has prevented thrid parties & independents from being on the ballot due to burdens of ballot access laws. The U.S. Constitution mentions NOTHING about political parties & thus major party status laws granting special privilages to major parties such as protecting them from third party/independent competition through democratic mercantilism are unconstitutional. If a court were to struck down laws placing protectionist burdons on minor parties & independents(thus requiring all parties/independents to be subject to a uniform ballot access rule), that would create a landmark ruling, advancing fairness in democracy & a devastating blow to the party duopoly.

When protectionist laws harming minor parties & independents plus protecting major parties are struck down & ALL parties & independents are subject to the same ballot requirements, disatisfied voters will switch voter registrations from major parties to more appealing ones or become independents.

For example, Progressives & Social liberals will defect from the Democratic Party & switch to the Green Party which will be the strongest in San Francisco & the Silicon Valley.

Conservatives & Libertarians would join the Constitution & Libertarian parties. There are 37 other minor political parties which I will mention in another blog but the major parties other than the Fascist Republicans & Socialist Democrats are the Libertarian, Constitution, & Green Parties.

There are some state-level exclusive parties such as the Alaskan Independence Party in Alaska, Florida Whig Party of Florida, Conservative Party of New York, & Vermont Progressive Party of Vermont.

The first step to fixing the electoral process is to dismantle major party status laws by whatever means necessary.
